Jorge Lopez Pitches Quality Start, Takes Loss Wednesday
3 years agoBaltimore Orioles starting pitcher Jorge Lopez fell to 1-6 in Wednesday's 3-2 loss to the Twins despite turning in a decent start. Lopez pitched six innings, allowing three runs on four hits (including a three-run home run) and four walks with three strikeouts. Like most of the O's starters, Lopez has been ineffective overall this season and now has a 5.80 ERA through 10 starts. His next start will be a rematch against the Twins at home, but fantasy managers should avoid him right now regardless of matchup.
