Jorge Lopez Turns In Decent Start, Takes Loss Friday
4 years agoBaltimore Orioles starting pitcher Jorge Lopez fell to 1-3 in Friday's 3-1 loss to the A's. Lopez pitched four innings, allowing three runs on five hits (including a solo home run) and two walks with one strikeout. The 28-year-old's last two starts have been relatively better than his first two, but he still has a bloated 8.15 ERA with seven walks and 18 strikeouts over 17 2/3 IP this season. His next start should be a decent one next week against the Yankees at home, but fantasy managers should avoid him at this time.
