3 years agoBaltimore Orioles shortstop Jorge Mateo (shoulder) is still experiencing left shoulder soreness, according to manager Brandon Hyde. Mateo injured his shoulder during Sunday's game after colliding with Detroit Tigers first baseman Spencer Torkelson on the way to first base. Hyde is optimistic that Mateo will be back soon, suggesting there's even a chance he could be used off the bench in Monday's game against the New York Yankees. Meanwhile, Ramon Urias will be starting at shortstop for Monday's game.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
