4 years agoMinnesota Twins second baseman/shortstop Jorge Polanco crushed a solo home run in his return to the lineup Tuesday. Polanco got the scoring started for the Twins with a blast off of Dean Kremer in the second inning. The homer traveled 426 feet at an exit velocity of 104.7 MPH. It was a good sign to see him deposit a ball in the seats from the left side of the plate- normally his stronger side- as he has just a .314 slugging percentage batting left-handed compared to .509 from the right side this season. Some of that could have to do with the pesky ankle issues that continue to plague Polanco, though he seems to be past his most recent issue. It will be interesting to see if Polanco can do some more damage from the left side of the plate, with right-hander Jorge Lopez slated to take the mound on Wednesday. Fantasy managers should keep rolling with him, as he has a .851 OPS in May.--Tim Capurso
