4 years agoKansas City Royals outfielder Jorge Soler went 1-for-4 with a home run, a walk and two RBI on Monday against the Detroit Tigers. He now has two home runs on the year, his only two hits over 13 at-bats this season. Soler batted second in the order on Monday for the first time this year. He was slotted in the three-spot for the three previous games. Manager Mike Matheny moved him up in the order in an attempt to help get him going and it clearly had an immediate effect on Soler.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
