4 years agoHouston Astros second baseman Jose Altuve went 1-for-6 in the team's 6-3 win over the Blue Jays on Sunday. Altuve's lone hit came right out of the gate, as he launched a pitch from Blue Jays starter Steven Matz over the fence for his ninth home run of the season. It was a fantastic three-game series for the 31-year-old, going 5-for-13 with one home run, two runs scored and three runs batted in. After a sluggish first month of his season, Altuve is hitting .315 over his last 132 at-bats. The former MVP has returned to form after a disastrous 2020 season and should be a top-shelf choice among second basemen in DFS leagues heading into next week.--Joey C - RotoBaller
