5 years agoMinnesota Twins starting pitcher Jose Berrios took a tough loss in Friday's 6-4 defeat against the Chicago White Sox. Berrios threw 7 and 1/3 innings and gave up nine hits and three earned runs, though three unearned runs scored due to two throwing errors by shortstop Ehire Adrianza. He struck out five and walked no one in the contest. Berrios gave up long balls to James McCann in the first inning and Eloy Jimenez in the eighth inning, which knocked him out of the ballgame for good. Berrios is still having a fantastic season, as he holds an 8-4 record, 2.89 ERA, 1.08 WHIP, and 102/20 K/BB ratio over 112 innings pitched. Continue to hold on to and start Jose Berrios in all fantasy formats - he takes on the Oakland A's in Oakland on Independence Day.--Kyle Ringstad - RotoBaller
