Jose Ramirez Has Productive Game
6 years agoCleveland Indians third baseman Jose Ramirez went 2-for-4 and scored two runs in the 8-3 victory over the Detroit Tigers on Sunday afternoon. The highly-drafted Ramirez has been among the biggest disappoints in fantasy baseball so far this season, as he's hitting .211/.299/.320 with five homers, 29 RBI, 31 runs scored. He is 18-for-20 in stolen base attempts, and that represents the only category that he has been a factor in for the 2019 season. However, with this game included, Ramirez is hitting .286/.310/.500 with one homer, five RBI, five runs scored, and two steals over his last seven games. He's starting to more closely resemble the valuable asset we've grown to expect over the last few years, though his advanced hitting metrics are still very ugly. Continue to monitor his form as he looks to keep building up to being a useful fantasy player - hold on to him for now as he still holds little trade value due to an absolutely brutal start.
