Josh Bell Homers Again Friday
3 years agoWashington Nationals first baseman Josh Bell provided all the offense for the club in a 6-1 loss to the Baltimore Orioles Friday, hitting a monster solo home run an estimated 448 feet off of starter Jorge Lopez. It was his 15th home run of the season, and his third in his last four games. Bell is impressing in July, with an .873 OPS, four homers, 10 runs, and nine RBI in 63 at-bats. He ought to be rostered in more leagues, as he's well-positioned to contribute in all categories but steals batting in the middle of the Washington lineup.
