Josh Jackson Drops Team-High 19 Points Off Bench
4 years agoDetroit Pistons shooting guard/small forward Josh Jackson made quite the impact in his first game with his new organization, dropping a team-best 19 points on 8-for-14 shooting during Wednesday's loss to the Timberwolves. Jackson played the fourth-most minutes of any Piston in the season opener, an indication that he'll be a considerable part of the mix moving forward despite averaging just 17.3 minutes per game last year while coming off the bench with the Grizzlies. In addition to having knocked down three triples, Jackson added six rebounds and two assists, showcasing the multi-category contributions that he has the ceiling to provide if given the opportunity. Minutes should be up for grabs with Detroit for much of the year, so keep an eye on the former lottery pick heading into Saturday's showdown with the Cavaliers.
