Josh Jackson Put Up A Season-High 27 Points In Double-Double Performance
6 years agoPhoenix Suns shooting guard/small forward Josh Jackson posted his first double-double of the campaign with 27 points along with 10 rebounds with three assists and three blocks in Tuesday's loss to the Timberwolves. The 6-foot-8 wing was 10-for-18 from the field, 2-for-4 from the three-point line, and 5-for-9 from the charity stripe. He made the most of his extra playing time as a result of T.J. Warren (ankle) being unable to go in the second half as well as Devin Booker's ejection in the third quarter. The 21-year-old set a season-high in field goal makes and blocks while also tying his most field goal attempts this year. Jackson, who is averaging 14.4 points and five boards in January, has compiled 42 points along with 15 rebounds and five assists while making 14 of 28 shots from the field along with 11 of 19 free throws over his last two outings. The second-year pro is too inconsistent to be for standard fantasy leagues. However, he is an option when the Suns are dealing with injuries in the backcourt.
