Josh Jacobs Enters 2021 With Lowered Fantasy Value
3 years agoLas Vegas Raiders running back Josh Jacobs has rushed for at least 1,000 yards in each of his NFL seasons, but the addition of Kenyan Drake and the lack of receiving upside for Jacobs has his fantasy value lower than it's been in past seasons. Last season, Jacobs had 273 carries plus 45 targets. Both of those numbers should drop, but Jacobs is still going to enter 2021 as the team's lead back, leaving plenty of room for upside. The overall RB8 in half PPR last season, Jacobs is currently being drafted as the RB21 on FFPC. This has turned Jacobs into a bit of a value, though no one should expect Jacobs to finish as an RB1 this season barring a Drake injury. Still, he can be a solid RB2 option each week.
