Josh Jacobs Misses Minicamp
2 years agoLas Vegas Raiders running back Josh Jacobs wasn't on the field for the team's mandatory minicamp, but he's been participating in the Raiders offseason program. The fact that he wasn't on the field for minicamp is a signal that something is up physically, but there is no sense that anything is serious. NFL teams often keep a tight lid on injuries at this time of the year, so if something is up with Jacobs, we may not know until training camp. Jacobs' fifth-year option was declined, so he'll become a free agent after this season. The 24-year-old had a career-high 54 receptions for 348 yards in 15 games last year, but he also had a career-low 872 rushing yards and nine touchdowns on 217 carries. Jacobs should be more of a high-end RB2 target with Kenyan Drake still in the fold and after the team drafted rookie Zamir White.
