Josh Jacobs Returns To Practice Field Thursday
4 years agoLas Vegas Raiders running back Josh Jacobs (ankle) was able to return to the field for practice Thursday, just a day after sitting out as he continues to nurse his ankle injury. Earlier in the week, head coach Jon Gruden had expressed pessimism at having his top back on the field Sunday against Indianapolis, but practicing three days out from kickoff likely means that Jacobs is trending in the right direction. Even if Jacobs does get cleared to return for Week 14, he'll be tasked with compiling yardage against a stout Colts Defense, albeit one that has been more conducive to run against as of late. Devontae Booker would be zapped of any streamer value should Jacobs ultimately get the green light to play, although the Raiders appear to be keeping mum on his status, so fantasy managers will want to check back over the weekend to get final word.
