Josh Okogie Quiet Offensively In Second Straight Start
6 years agoMinnesota Timberwolves shooting guard/small forward Josh Okogie drew his second consecutive start in place of Robert Covington during Friday’s victory over the Orlando Magic, but Okogie finished 2-for-9 from the field en route to an eight-point evening. When combined with his 0-for-4 performance from the floor Wednesday, the rookie has missed out on valuable starting minutes. He added five rebounds and five assists across 33 minutes Friday, so it was not all for naught, but with Covington likely to be out a handful more contests, Okogie has the chance to be an excellent low-priced DFS option, provided he can knock down some shots.
