Josh Richardson Ejected For Tossing Sneaker
6 years agoMiami Heat shooting guard/small forward Josh Richardson was ejected from Sunday night's loss to the Lakers. Richardson lost his shoe as he missed a dunk attempt midway through the fourth quarter. The 6-foot-6 wing thought he was fouled on the play and voiced his displeasure. Then after being whistled for a foul on the defensive end, with just one shoe, the 26-year walked to the Heat sideline. When he couldn't get the shoe on completely, the fourth-year pro tossed it into the stands, and he was subsequently issued a technical foul and tossed. The former second-round draft pick finished the game with 17 points, six rebounds along with three assists, one block, and a steal. Richardson may get fined, but it is unlikely that he will be suspended.
