5 years agoThe New Orleans Pelicans will remain short-handed for Saturday’s contest against the Los Angeles Clippers with the trio of Jrue Holiday, Kenrich Williams and Jahlil Okafor all ruled out. Holiday is dealing with a left elbow/tricep ailment that will sideline him for the seventh consecutive game, while Williams is missing his sixth in a row due to a back ailment. The absence of Okafor should pave the way for Derrick Favors and Jaxson Hayes to see increased roles in the frontcourt. The next chance that any of the trio has at taking the floor comes Monday against Memphis.--Jesse Borek
