Jrue Holiday Plays Well at MSG
7 years agoNew Orleans Pelicans guard Jrue Holiday played well in the win over the New York Knicks on Sunday. Holiday played an inflated 45 minutes as a result of overtime, shooting an accurate 12-for-19 from the field and 3-for-7 from deep for a total of 31 points. He also had five boards, four assists and contributed defensively with four steals and a block. Holiday is having the best season of his career, at least from an offensive standpoint, averaging 18 points per contest. He is also boasting the highest efficiency and offensive rating to date and though he will have some off nights, he remains a relatively consistent scorer who will play heavy minutes on a team that doesn't look for much beyond the starting five.
