5 years agoNew Orleans Pelicans guard Jrue Holiday scored 21 points with six rebounds, five assists, four triples, and a steal in a 102-94 win over the Portland Trail Blazers. Holiday shot only 33 percent from the field but made up for it by putting together his eighth game this year with at least 20 points, five rebounds, and five assists. For the season, Holiday is averaging just under 20, five, and five with 1.7 steals per game and 0.7 blocks on 43.4 percent shooting from the field. He's also made a career-high two triples per game on 35 percent shooting. Holiday and the Pelicans will get a Christmas night matchup with the Denver Nuggets, who have allowed the fewest points per game in the NBA.--Tim Capurso
