6 years agoNew Orleans Pelicans guard Jrue Holiday's effort was below his averages in recent games and was not enough to help his squad pull out a win versus the veteran San Antonio Spurs. The 28-year-old UCLA product had a slow night compared to his standards, posting 15 points, four assists and seven rebounds. Holiday's struggles also followed him shooting for the night, only connecting on six of 16 from the field and a disappointing one of four from three-point land. Holiday gets a chance at redemption very soon, as the Pelicans have a short turnaround with a game Monday night against the Indiana Pacers.--Matthew.McGough
