4 years agoMinnesota Timberwolves small/power forward Juan Hernangomez (knee) has been ruled out for Sunday's contest versus Orlando due to swelling in his knee. The nature of the injury certainly doesn't portend to a brief absence, which comes at a difficult time after Hernangomez had reeled off double-digit shot attempts in each of his last three games. Jake Layman and Jarred Vanderbilt stand to see an uptick in minutes without Hernangomez in the mix, but how his shots will be distributed remains less clear. His next opportunity to take the floor comes Tuesday against the Pistons.--Jesse Borek
