Juan Hernangomez Provides Spark Off The Bench
5 years agoDenver Nuggets forward Juan Hernangomez had a season-high 15 points on Sunday night in a 131-114 win over the Memphis Grizzlies. Patience finally paid off for Hernangomez, as he played a season-high 29 minutes with Will Barton limited and the game being a blowout. He has now averaged 24.0 minutes in the last two games and could be starting to break his way into the Nuggets rotation. That being said, it would take an extended stretch of playing time to be worth a roster spot in most formats, as Denver is one of the deepest teams in the entire league. If he keeps getting that amount of playing time in Week 5 against Houston, Boston and Phoenix, then managers can start keeping a close eye on him.
