6 years agoNew Orleans Pelicans power forward/center Julius Randle continues to see an expanded role when Nikola Mirotic is unable to suit up, finishing Wednesday’s win over the Oklahoma City Thunder with 22 points and 12 rebounds. The fifth-year center is reaping the rewards of playing in the Pelicans’ high-octane offense, averaging a career-best 19.3 points per game, while adding 9.5 rebounds per contest. With Mirotic on the shelf for at least the next few games, Randle will look to continue his push towards a possible All-Star berth Sunday against Miami.--Jesse Borek
