6 years agoNew Orleans Pelicans power forward/center Julius Randle capitalized on the absence of Anthony Davis from the mix during Thursday’s win over the Sacramento Kings, pouring in 34 points on 12-for-24 shooting across just 31 minutes. In his time on the floor, he also snatched 10 rebounds and added three assists, giving him his 29th double-double of the year. Without Davis, Randle is the heartbeat of the New Orleans offense, next drawing a match-up against his former team, the Los Angeles Lakers, come Sunday, whom he has averaged 26.7 points per game against in three contests this year.--Jesse Borek
