Julius Randle Paves Way With Team-High 24 Points
6 years agoNew Orleans Pelicans power forward/center Julius Randle once again benefited from the absence of Anthony Davis during Tuesday’s loss to the Atlanta Hawks, finishing with 24 points, nine rebounds and five assists. After back-to-back below-average performances, he got back into good graces against an Atlanta defense that has had difficulty slowing much of anybody in 2018-19. On the whole, Randle has emerged as a top fantasy commodity this season, with or without Davis, averaging 21 points and 8.6 rebounds while shooting 52.2 percent overall during his first year with New Orleans. Davis should rejoin the fold Thursday versus Sacramento, so owners should adjust accordingly, particularly in DFS.
