5 years agoNew York Knicks power forward/center Julius Randle had reached the 30-point plateau just once over his first 30 games with his new squad. But following Saturday’s win over the Washington Wizards, Randle has gone for at least 30 points in three straight games, leading the team in scoring, as well as rebounding, as he tied his season best with 16 boards, tossing in six assists for good measure during arguably his most dominant fantasy outing of the season. Logging 39 minutes, Randle saw a huge workload, shooting 11-for-21 from the field overall, his third consecutive contest with at least 20 shot attempts after not having reached the mark in his first 30 outings. It was a near perfect knot to tie around his 2019, as he opens 2020 against Portland on Wednesday, who has been susceptible to stellar showings from opposing frontcourt players this season.--Jesse Borek
