6 years agoNew Orleans Pelicans power forward/center Julius Randle entered the starting lineup again for Wednesday’s contest against the Dallas Mavericks and finished with a massive double-double featuring 27 points and 18 rebounds. Without Nikola Mirotic in the lineup, Randle has seen a huge increase in role, playing north of 35 minutes in each of the last two games. Mirotic was a game-time decision Wednesday, which means that he may be back Friday versus Memphis, but if not, Randle again becomes a home run play, even against a Grizzlies defense that is allowing the second-fewest points per game (102.3) this season.--Jesse Borek
