4 years agoNew York Knicks forward Julius Randle had a rough day on the offensive end of the floor in Friday's 99-86 loss to Dallas. Randle notched a double-double with 14 points and 11 assists, though the shooting wasn't pretty. He shot 5-for-20 from the field and 1 of 7 from beyond the arc but managed to chip in eight boards, a block, and a steal in 37 minutes. While it's easy to get discouraged by a poor shooting performance like this, it also reinforces how good he is- and just how much faith the coaching staff has in Randle, as he played the most minutes on the team even though the shots weren't falling. Randle has a great bounce-back spot coming up on Saturday against the Pistons, who allowed 25-8-6 and 27-16-7 lines to the All-Star forward in two games this year.--Tim Capurso
