6 years agoHouston Astros starting pitcher Justin Verlander went four innings, giving up six hits, four runs and three walks while striking out four in the 6-4 loss to the Texas Rangers on Tuesday. He most likely would've got a loss had it not been for Shelby Miller and Jesse Chavez pitching equally as bad on the other side. Verlander is easily one of the best pitchers in the league and this is just an off start for him, as he dominated the Rays in his season debut. Don't expect too many outings like this one, as he is one of the best pitchers in fantasy baseball.--Caden Inaba
