6 years agoPortland Trail Blazers center Jusuf Nurkic logged a very solid 15 minutes on Saturday against Toronto, scoring nine points on 3-for-7 shooting and picking up five rebounds The Big Bosnian even sank one of his two attempts from downtown. He had to battle with Jonas Valanciunas, who had a big performance, and there were a couple of struggles, but overall, it was a good outing. Nurkic is out to battle for minutes during the preseason as he averaged less than 24 minutes in last season's playoffs.
