4 years agoPortland Trail Blazers center Jusuf Nurkic (quad) has been deemed questionable to play in Wednesday's contest versus the Kings as he battles a left quad contusion. Nurkic played just nine minutes Monday before departing early due to the injury, which forced the team to play small for the majority of the contest. Should Nurkic be ruled out, Enes Kanter would figure to take on an increased role, although with Sacramento not presenting considerable size, the team may opt to continue rolling out a small ball group. Nurkic went for 10 points, eight rebounds, and five assists in his most recent matchup against the Kings, giving him solid DFS appeal if he does suit up. Check back prior to tip-off to get the final word, but with the late tip, shrewd fantasy managers should have a backup plan in place.--Jesse Borek
