7 years agoPortland Trail Blazers center Jusuf Nurkic had a solid performance on Wednesday in a tough matchup against Rudy Gobert and the Jazz, scoring 13 points, but he saw his four-game double-double streak end after he was left with nine rebounds. Nurkic shot quite badly, going 6-for-16 from the field, but he made up for it with four blocks. He's expected to be the defensive anchor in the playoffs first-round matchup against Anthony Davis and the Pelicans. However, Nurkic could provide some offense as well, as he proved in the last meeting between the two when he had 21 points on 10-for-14 shooting with 10 rebounds and four blocks.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
