Jusuf Nurkic Sustains Wrist Fracture Thursday
4 years agoPortland Trail Blazers center Jusuf Nurkic (wrist) departed Thursday's game versus Indiana early due to a right wrist fracture. Nurkic played 21 minutes prior to exiting, finishing with five points and eight rebounds in what could be his final game for the foreseeable future. The injury is the latest bad break that Nurkic has caught, having come back from a gruesome broken leg to re-establish himself as a premier big man. Season-long fantasy managers can eye Enes Kanter as a potential replacement, as he has proven capable of compiling points and boards in spades when given the opportunity. There has been no immediate timetable provided for Nurkic, but he'll need to head to the wire barring open IR slots.
