7 years agoMinnesota Timberwolves center Karl-Anthony Towns played extremely efficiently Tuesday night against the Washington Wizards. Towns scored 37 points, shooting 13-for-17 from the floor, with three of those made shots coming from downtown. He also hit all eight of his free throw attempts. Towns also had 10 rebounds and two blocks. It really has been March madness for Towns, who has averaged 23.3 points and 12 boards since March 1. Next up for KAT and the Timberwolves is a matchup with the Spurs on Saturday. Towns will mostly be guarded by Spurs center Pau Gasol, who has the 12th best defensive real plus-minus in the league for centers, so KAT may not have the same statistical output he had Tuesday.--Matt Sparkington - RotoBaller
