6 years agoMinnesota Timberwolves center Karl-Anthony Towns came just a rebound shy of posting a double-double during Tuesday’s win over the Oklahoma City Thunder, finishing with 20 points and nine rebounds. Towns’ performance is all the more impressive with the fact that it came in just 24 minutes, as he was hampered by foul trouble for the majority of the contest. The workload was his lightest since the season-opener back on Oct. 17, which could mean he’ll have something extra in the tank for Friday’s showdown with the Dallas Mavericks, whom he went for 31 points against on Oct. 20.--Jesse Borek
