6 years agoMinnesota Timberwolves center Karl Anthony-Towns (knee) will not play against the New York Knicks Sunday night. Towns left Saturday night's overtime win against the Washington Wizards with a knee injury and underwent a precautionary MRI Sunday morning. Although the results of the MRI are unknown at this time, it appears Towns avoided serious injury as it has been ruled as knee inflammation. With Towns sitting out, Taj Gibson will likely start at the five while Anthony Tolliver and Gorgui Dieng get extra run off the bench.--Dale Johnson - RotoBaller
