6 years agoMinnesota Timberwolves center Karl-Anthony Towns put up a video-game line in Saturday's win over Memphis, finishing a 112-99 affair with 33 points and 23 rebounds. He shot 12-for-20 from the field, including 4-for-7 from downtown, while nailing all five free throw attempts. KAT bagged a steal and a block as well. Memphis have actually done very well against opposing centers this season, so this came out of nowhere. Tuesday's matchup with the Clippers should be a much better one for Towns on paper, as they are allowing the fourth-most points per 48 minutes to centers this season.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
