7 years agoMinnesota Timberwolves center Karl-Anthony Towns managed to return to double-double form on Thursday, posting his 65th of the year with 26 points and 13 rebounds. KAT had missed a double-double in the previous outing against Utah after finishing with seven rebounds. He was nearly unstoppable and even a Paul Millsap elbow couldn't slow him down, as he shot 10-for-16 from the field and hit two of five attempts from deep before fouling out with 1:46 to go. Jimmy Butler (knee) is close to a return, but Towns should still have a big night on Friday against the Lakers, who generally don't do well against centers.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
