Karl-Anthony Towns Puts Together Dominating Double-Double
6 years agoMinnesota Timberwolves center Karl-Anthony Towns had a huge outing during Saturday’s tight loss to the Denver Nuggets, pouring in 31 points while adding 12 rebounds, seven assists and two steals. Able to stay out of foul trouble, Towns logged 37 minutes and delivered what has been typical as of late: a dominant outing. His only bugaboo was his 5-for-9 performance from the free-throw stripe, which marks his lowest percentage (55.6) in a single contest this year in which he shot more than two free throws. He runs into Marc Gasol and the Memphis Grizzlies come Tuesday, who boast the fewest fantasy points per game allowed to opposing centers this season.
