5 years agoMinnesota Timberwolves center Karl-Anthony Towns has been tagged as questionable to play in Saturday’s contest versus the Houston Rockets due to a left knee sprain that has kept him sidelined for each of the past 12 games. Gorgui Dieng has seen an increased role in Towns’ absence and would likely figure to do so again Saturday should Minnesota continue to be without its leading scorer. Towns’ status has gone down to the wire for the last handful of games, as the big man appears to be a true game-time call as to whether or not he will suit up. Check back to get the final word as Dieng, Andrew Wiggins and others would see a reduced role should Towns get back on the floor.--Jesse Borek
