Karl-Anthony Towns Scorches Suns With 33-Point Outing
5 years agoMinnesota Timberwolves center Karl-Anthony Towns reeled off his second straight dominant performance versus the Suns during Monday’s contest. Shooting 12-for-18 from the field overall, Towns notched 33 points to go along with 15 rebounds, two assists and two blocks across 35 minutes. The Suns had little answer for Towns’ array of offensive moves, as the big man also added a pair of made triples to keep him near the top of the league in makes from long range. He goes from a porous Phoenix frontcourt to a collision with two-time reigning Defensive Player of the Year Rudy Gobert on Wednesday, although Towns has collected a double-double in both prior matchups versus the Jazz this season.
