5 years agoMinnesota Timberwolves power forward/center Karl-Anthony Towns logged his most minutes (35) since returning and he made the most of his time on Monday. Towns scored 28 points on 9-for-19 shooting while adding eight rebounds with five assists and he also chipped in a steal with a block in the 107-100 loss to the Nuggets. Towns has now played three games in a row, which is promising for owners and we have not heard anything about his knee, so that as well is a good thing. The Timberwolves play Chicago on Wednesday and they are shorthanded in the middle, so we could see a big night from Towns.--Gianni Costantiello
