Karl-Anthony Towns' Solid Play This Month Continues
7 years agoMinnesota Timberwolves center Karl-Anthony Towns had a good game Saturday night against the San Antonio Spurs. Towns scored 23 points, going 8-for-15 from the floor, with two of those made shots coming from downtown. Towns also had nine boards to go along with his scoring output. Since March 1, Towns has averaged 26 points, 11.6 rebounds and a field goal percentage of 59 percent. The next matchup for the Timberwolves and KAT is the Houston Rockets on Sunday. Towns will primarily be guarded by Rockets center Clint Capela, who has the eighth best defensive real plus-minus for centers in the NBA, so Towns may struggle on Sunday.
