3 years agoLos Angeles Clippers forward Kawhi Leonard (knee) might opt-out of the final year of his contract and enter unrestricted free agency. One executive believes that Leonard will opt-out this summer, according to Michael Scotto. Leonard recently underwent surgery to repair a partially torn ACL. He currently has no timetable to return and there's a good chance he misses the beginning of next season. Despite that, there is some believe that Leonard might opt-out. Kevin Durant got the max from the Brooklyn Nets after suffering a torn Achilles. Leonard is also eligible for a higher max contract because of how long he has been in the league.
