7 years agoSan Antonio Spurs guard/forward Kawhi Leonard (shoulder) has been ruled out of Sunday's game against the Portland Trail Blazers. Leonard dropped 21 points, three boards, three dimes, four steals, and three blocks in 29 minutes against the Suns on Friday. Sadly, Sunday's game marks the beginning of a back-to-back set, so the Spurs will elect to rest Leonard and let him heal his shoulder. It's most likely just a precautionary move by the Spurs, and Leonard should be fine for Monday's contest. Bryn Forbes and Kyle Anderson should benefit the most with Leonard sidelined.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
