Kawhi Leonard Stuffs The Box Score In Loss To Suns
5 years agoLos Angeles Clippers small forward Kawhi Leonard was a stat-stuffing machine on Saturday night against the Phoenix Suns. While Leonard suffered his first defeat in a Clippers uniform, his fantasy owners were jumping for joy. His final line of 27 points, 10 assists, eight rebounds, three steals and one block reminded every fantasy owner of just how versatile Leonard can really be. His 23 shot attempts were six more than any other Clipper, and it tells fantasy owners that head coach Doc Rivers is not going to shy away from using his best weapon when he is trying to get the win. The early season returns for Leonard have been great and a four-game slate against the Jazz (twice), Hornets and Spurs will have him as a prime candidate to win your matchup in Week 2 of the fantasy basketball season.
