Kawhi Leonard To Sit Out Thursday
6 years agoToronto Raptors small forward Kawhi Leonard will miss Thursday’s contest versus the Atlanta Hawks due to a sore left knee. The move not only comes with no warning, it also does not come with the caveat of being apart of a back-to-back, which this season has traditionally meant that Leonard would sit at least one leg. Toronto will already be short due to their trade earlier in the day to acquire Marc Gasol from Memphis, now leaving a larger load for the likes of Fred Van Vleet, who becomes a high-upside DFS play, and Pascal Siakam, who is likely to see more offensive usage. Leonard’s next chance to suit up comes Saturday versus the New York Knicks.
