Keita Bates-Diop Goes For 18 Points In Second Start
6 years agoMinnesota Timberwolves small forward Keita Bates-Diop dropped a career-best 18 points on the New York Knicks during Sunday’s victory, having entered the starting lineup in place of the injured Andrew Wiggins for the second consecutive game. Not only has Bates-Diop received the rub of starting, but he has gotten hefty minutes totals, logging 35 on Sunday, using that time on the floor to add six rebounds, two steals and two blocks. There’s little reason to doubt that if Wiggins remains out Tuesday against Denver that Bates-Diop would draw another start, but his DFS price tag may have had time to react by that point, creating an ultimatum for owners.
