Keith Mitchell Looks To Build Off Of Sony Open
3 years agoKeith Mitchell drives the ball well off the tee and that can help at Torrey Pines. Mitchell also finished in a tie for seventh at the Sony Open in his first tournament of 2022. He was making birdies, stringing shots together, and not messing up his approaches to the green. That is his weakness by the way. He loses about .15 to .25 strokes in that metric. The key will be how Mitchell takes advantage of the 7700+ yard South course. Mitchell needs to make birdies and putts often early to set the tone. If he can do that, Mitchell may be able to replicate his Sony Open result.
