4 years agoSan Antonio Spurs small forward Keldon Johnson continued his impressive season with a career-high 29 points on Thursday, shooting a superb 12-for-16 from the field in a 109-105 loss to the Rockets. He went 2-for-3 from downtown, adding six rebounds, two assists, one steal, and one block with one turnover in 31 minutes. Johnson, who was limited to only 17 outings in his first year in the league, has broken out big time this season, leading the team in scoring multiple times and averaging 14.8 points with 7.3 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.3 steals. He gets to run riot against Houston again on Saturday before the Spurs head to Portland to take on the Trail Blazers, who have posted the sixth-worst defensive rating in the league.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
